Why your logo might not be the real problem, the signs you actually need a new one, and when a refresh is enough.
Maybe not. When business feels stuck, a new logo seems like a tangible fix. Sometimes it is. More often, the logo isn't what's holding you back.
Your logo probably isn't why business is slow
Clients rarely choose a business because of its logo. They choose based on whether they understand what you do, trust you, and see that you're the right fit. If your message is unclear, a new logo just puts a fresh coat of paint on the same problem.
Consistency matters more than perfection
A decent logo used the same way everywhere beats a great logo used five different ways. If your website, business cards, and social media all look slightly different, the fix may be consistency, not a redesign.
Watch for the signs you really do need one
A new logo makes sense when your current one doesn't hold up small or in one color, when it looks dated enough to distract people, when your business has changed and the logo no longer fits, or when you don't have usable files for it. If any of those sound familiar, it's worth the investment.
Consider whether a refresh is enough
You don't always have to start over. A refresh keeps what people already recognize while cleaning up the lines, updating the type, and making it work across every place it appears. You keep the recognition you've built and lose what's dragging it down.
Start with what you want to say
A logo should grow out of who you are and who you serve. That's why we start with a brand strategy session before any design work. Two hours, a written document, and a clear sense of whether you need a new logo or something else entirely. Book a call and let's figure it out.
